Grants & Incentives

The Development Corporation of Needville offers grants to Needville businesses and business building owners who wish to:

• Upgrade the appearance of their building
• Purchase a new sign
• Make property improvements such as landscaping

The Development Corporation of Needville offers grants to Needville non-profit organizations whose projects fulfill one of the following goals:

• Enhance Needville’s quality of life
• Contribute to Needville’s economic vitality
• Improve the aesthetic appearance of Needville

Business Improvement Grant Program:

This program provides cash-match grants for business property improvements such as building facades, business signs, and landscaping. Any new or existing business or business building owner is eligible to apply.

Tax Abatement:

The City of Needville offers tax abatements for business property improvements within the City. Any new or existing business making $100,000 or more in taxable improvements is eligible to apply for abatement of their property taxes for a period of time which is determined by the type and size of improvements.
