City Secretary Overview


The City Secretary’s Office is responsible for the official records of the City. This includes the preparation and certification of all agendas and minutes for all meetings of the City Council and boards and commissions. In addition, the City Secretary prepares and certifies ordinances. The City Secretary’s Office also provides all legal notices, processes requests for city records in line with the Texas Public Information Act, and administers systematic recordkeeping that ensures legislative and historical preservation.
